The Galápagos Islands may inspire you
to think differently about the world.
A unique living museum and showcase of evolution.
Isolated from the mainland for millions of years, these islands are a rare wilderness. The archipelago has the highest rate of endemic species anywhere in the world.
Your adventure begins and ends in Ecuador’s capital, Quito. Enjoy exclusive VIP airport service with lounge access and speedy customs procedures. Quito, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is without a doubt amongst South America’s most beautiful capital cities.
Explore rocky beaches and volcanic landscapes on excursions to remote islands. You may find yourself standing just a few feet away from a penguin… or strolling along a pristine beach populated by large iguanas! On certain vessels, you may enjoy private landings on beaches and coves that no other boats visit. On-board your vessel, delicious meals and special activities await you.
iCare Travel specialists have inspected many of the boats in the Galapágos, and we have made an important discovery: not all boats in the Galapágos are created equal. Please be aware that most travel companies offer cruises only on boats they represent.
We invite you to look at our itineraries where we have selected certain cruising vessels that meet our strict criteria (e.g., acceptable comfort for price and number of days, smooth cruising in the water, etc.). Some of the vessels are large, and some are small. There are top luxury vessels, catamarans, vessels with good programs for families, and more affordable boats.
